Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent; the season of remembering Christ's temptation. It is the 40 days leading to the celebration of Easter morning.
We will observe Ash Wednesday in two ways. There will be a chance to come-and-go during the lunch hour. We will have a self-guided meditation and then a chance to receive ashes on your hand or forehead. That night, we will also hold a service with songs, prayer, and the imposition of ashes.
