This event has already occurred
On the Friday we call Good, we take time to observe the events leading up to, and immediately following, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The Tenebrae service follows the journey to the cross with scripture readings interspersed with songs. After each reading, we extinguish a candle and the service ends in a darkened setting and we exit in silence.
